Camera & privacy

Your camera. Your choice.

Practise with camera recognition or without camera. You choose, and you can change during the lesson.

Permission and control

The camera starts only after you choose camera practice or press Enable camera and grant browser permission. Video is requested without microphone audio. Turn camera off or continue without camera to stop the stream. You can revoke permission in browser settings.

What runs locally

The browser model detects a person and visible body landmarks. During a lesson it compares a broad visible shape with the displayed reference. Video and landmark frames are processed locally; YogaMiga does not record or upload them. No facial identification or body ranking is performed.

How the timer behaves

The hold timer pauses when the required visible pose is lost, the relevant joints cannot be seen, the camera is unavailable, or the page is hidden. It can resume when a fresh matching shape is detected. Preparation allows repositioning. You can always pause, skip a step, finish, or continue without camera.

Comfortable framing

Your whole body does not have to fit for every exercise. Show the joints used in the current pose, with one person and even light. Try tilting the screen at a comfortable distance. Hidden joints cannot be assessed. An unclear reference or view cannot confirm a match.

Limits of the guide

Illustrations, sequences and matching rules still await instructor review. A recognised shape is not a medical assessment, a guarantee of correct technique or a safety score. Follow the written anatomical side and support instructions. Stop if movement feels uncomfortable.
