Questions & help
A clear place to begin.
What you can explore today, what the camera does and what is still being prepared.
How do I start my first practice?
Sign in with your email, open Today and press Start today’s practice. Choose Without camera or With camera above the button. Use Adjust if you want to change the time, focus, effort or equipment. Confirm that you are 18 or older and read the movement confirmation once before your first start.
Open Today ↗Will I have time to get ready and change poses?
Yes. A 10-second countdown runs before the first pose and between poses. Spoken instructions may need a longer preparation, included in the planned duration. The guide shows the pose and side to prepare for. Choose +10 sec if you need longer, I’m ready · start now to begin sooner, or Pause practice to wait. Preparation and paused time are not added to your active minutes.
Choose today’s practice ↗Can I practise without a camera?
Yes. Select Without camera on Today, then Start today’s practice. You still get the illustrated guide, written cues, timer and optional voice. The camera stays off and no camera permission is needed. During a camera session, Continue without camera switches to the same guided mode.
Start without camera ↗Can I use my phone or iPad?
Yes. You can browse poses, build a practice and follow a session on a phone or tablet. Place the device securely where you can see it. For camera practice, allow camera access in your browser; if access is unavailable, choose Without camera. Open large view makes the guide or camera easier to see.
Open your practice space ↗Why has my camera timer stopped?
During the hold, the timer pauses when the visible pose stops matching the guide, required joints leave view, or the camera loses you. Return to the shown pose and it continues automatically. After a manual pause, press Resume. You can also choose Continue without camera. Matching is an experimental shape comparison, not a technique or safety assessment.
Check your camera view ↗My camera will not turn on. What should I do?
Allow camera access for yogamiga.com in your browser’s website settings, close other apps using the camera, then choose Retry camera. In Settings → Camera & display, open Test camera & choose device to check the selected camera. You can always start with Without camera while you sort out access.
Open camera settings ↗Is my camera video recorded or uploaded?
No. Camera frames are processed on your device in this browser. YogaMiga does not record or upload the video. Saved progress contains practice times, completed steps and any note you choose to save. You can turn the camera off by choosing Continue without camera.
Read camera & privacy ↗Do my feet and whole body have to fit in the camera?
Your whole body does not have to fit just to start. Keep a comfortable distance and show the joints used in the current exercise. If a hold needs joints the camera cannot see, the timer may pause. Adjust the device angle or continue without camera; do not move into an awkward position just to fit the screen.
Check your camera view ↗Can I mix a mat, no equipment and other supports?
Yes. In Today → Adjust → Equipment & effort, each equipment button is independent. No equipment adds unassisted standing poses. Mat adds floor poses. Select both for a mix, or Mat alone if you want floor poses only. Add a wall, chair, blocks or other available supports in any combination. A pose is offered only when all the supports it needs are selected.
Adjust today’s equipment ↗How do I keep the whole practice seated on a chair?
In Today → Adjust → Equipment & effort → Movement preferences, choose Stay seated on a chair and select a stable chair as equipment. Selecting a chair alone also allows supported standing poses, so the seated preference is a separate choice. You can also exclude kneeling, floor transitions, weight on palms or overhead arms there.
Set movement preferences ↗How do I know which props a pose actually needs?
Open the pose in Library → Pose library and choose a setup. Its picture, equipment list and instructions show the supports for that version. Select those supports before adding it to a practice. The strap shown in the catalogue is a nonelastic yoga strap; a resistance band is a different prop.
Explore pose setups ↗How do I choose a more challenging strength practice?
In Today → Adjust → Equipment & effort, choose Strength as the focus and Challenging as the effort. Set Your yoga experience separately; it controls technical difficulty. Choose the equipment you can use. The practice graph shows the planned effort through the session. Movement preferences can limit the available strength poses, and the page tells you when only moderate work fits.
Adjust focus & effort ↗How do I change the poses and timing in Today?
Open Today → Adjust → Time & poses. Set the total length, then use the Warm-up, Main practice and Cool-down controls to share that time. Choose Replace, Add pose or Remove beside the illustrated poses. Paired sides stay together. Changes are kept on this device for today. Press Use changes, then Start today’s practice to follow your edited sequence.
Edit today’s practice ↗Can I add my own warm-up and cool-down?
Yes. In Today → Adjust → Time & poses, you can change the length of each part and add or replace its poses. For a practice you build yourself, open Build a practice, choose Warm-up or Cool-down, then select a pose card to see its image, description, focus and setup before adding it. Suggest warm-up & cool-down offers gentle options matched to the main practice and your equipment. Review the preview before applying it; your main poses stay in place.
Build a practice ↗Do I need to add left and right sides separately?
No. When you add a setup that has left and right versions, both sides are added together. The sequence shows each side separately so you know what comes next. Follow the anatomical side named in the instructions; a mirrored camera image can look reversed.
Choose a pose ↗What if a pose is too hard or does not feel right?
Pause practice, skip the current block or end the session. Make gentler previews an easier remaining sequence using your selected equipment and movement preferences; Less time previews a shorter one. Review the change before applying it. Stop if movement is uncomfortable. The practice and illustrations are previews awaiting instructor review.
Browse another practice ↗How do I get my practice into My progress?
Your actual practice time starts saving automatically when you begin moving. Results are checkpointed during the lesson and when it finishes. Preparation, pauses and skipped time do not add active minutes. If the connection drops, progress waits on this device and syncs when you reconnect. Open My progress to see confirmed results and wraps.
Open My progress ↗Can I return if I accidentally refresh during a session?
An interrupted lesson is kept on this device and reopens paused with its current step and preparation countdown. Check the guide and camera, then press Resume. Actual progress also saves automatically to your account. Signing out or clearing site data removes device drafts, so let pending progress sync first.
See saved practice results ↗Will my saved practices appear on another device?
Confirmed saves belong to your account. Sign in with the same email on the other device, then open Saved for favourites or My progress for completed results. Wait for a save to succeed before leaving. An unfinished player draft stays on its original device; confirmed progress is available in My progress.
Open Saved ↗How do I sign in without a password?
Open Log in, enter your email and request a code. Keep that page open, check your inbox and enter the latest code there. The same email opens your existing account; you do not need to create a second account to use another device.
Log in with email ↗What if my sign-in email or code does not arrive?
Check the email spelling and your spam folder. Keep the sign-in page open and wait for its resend countdown before requesting another email; only use the newest code. If the email contains a link instead of a code, do not keep requesting emails. Contact Yogamiga.support@gmail.com and describe what arrived, without sharing your code or sign-in link.
Email YogaMiga support ↗Why can I not hear the voice?
Open Settings → Sound & cues, enable Voice cues, choose an available voice, check the volume and play a sample. Google voices depend on your browser and device. The other named voices use short ready-to-play recordings; no large voice model is downloaded. Tap Play voice sample or Resume to enable sound, and check your device’s silent mode. Written cues remain available.
Open sound settings ↗Do I need to pay or subscribe to try YogaMiga?
You can use Free without subscribing: 3 sessions per week, practices up to 20 minutes and 3 saved practices. Plus adds unlimited sessions and practices up to 60 minutes. Flow adds personal week generation. Your plan page shows prices and clearly labels any test checkout; viewing plans never starts billing.
See plans ↗Where can I export or delete my account data?
Open Settings → Data & account. Export downloads your saved account data. Clearing practice data and deleting the account are separate actions with confirmation; permanent account deletion also requires a recent sign-in. Read the confirmation carefully before continuing.
Open Data & account ↗Need help with the camera?
If permission was declined, you can change camera access in your browser's site settings and try again. Check that another app is not using the camera. A stable device and even light give the clearest preview.
